Alex Gonzalez is a Texas personal injury attorney who focuses his practice entirely on helping people who have been injured. Mr. Gonzalez was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Following graduation from high school, he enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his bachelor’s degree in international business. He then enrolled at South Texas College of Law Houston where he was a member of the nationally-recognized advocacy program and represented his school at several moot court competitions across the country. For his outstanding efforts, he was awarded the Heart of South Texas Advocacy award, the Bernardino Agosto Sr. scholarship, and 2nd Best Advocate at the Hispanic National Bar Association moot court competition. In 2012, Mr. Gonzalez graduated from law school, passed the bar exam, and began practicing law in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez began his law career working for insurance companies and defending their clients who had caused accidents. This pivotal time in his career gave him a unique perspective into how insurance companies and defense attorneys view plaintiffs’ claims. He uses that knowledge now to better serve his clients and maximize their case value.

Today, Mr. Gonzalez dedicates himself to representing Texans who have been involved in car crashes, 18-wheeler wrecks, wrongful death accidents, construction accidents, workplace accidents, and other serious accidents. He has been recognized a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Outside of the office, Mr. Gonzalez serves is involved with various organizations such as the Mexican-American Bar Association of Houston (past president and current board member), South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association Board of Directors (Director), and the Coalition of Houston Diverse Bar Associations (member). He also collects vinyl records, tries to get to the gym, and spends as much time as possible with his wife and their chocolate Labrador, Niko.
